Subaru Impreza WRX destroyed by Australian floods

"I'll be taking it apart and selling it for parts"

A SUBARU Impreza WRX owner has been forced to sell his beloved performance car after it was ruined by flood damage.

Mitchell Lowy said the turbocharged four-door is an automotive casualty of the floods that have been consuming north-eastern Australia, with the car being completely submerged during the deluge.

Considerable damage was done to the inside of the car, of course: as the above footage shows, most of the Subaru’s interior is now covered in mould.

As a result, the Subaru is totally written off and will have to be dismantled. If there’s any comfort for Impreza fans, at least the parts that can be salvaged will live on.
