Facebook Live: after the Rolls-Royce Vision Next 100, what would you like to see in real-time?

Take a peek behind the scenes of a Rolls-Royce launch

DRIVING presented its first live video on Facebook, yesterday, taking followers behind the scenes of the Vision Next 100, the futuristic concept car from Rolls-Royce.

Hundreds of viewers watched as Torsten Müller-Ötvös, the British company’s German chief executive, presented the dramatic vision of a self-driving electric car that offers a glimpse of how the world’s most wealthy drivers may travel in 2030.

The Live video stream (recorded above) walked viewers around the Vision Next 100 concept car, codenamed 103EX, and gave the chance for the audience to direct their questions to Rolls-Royce, via the Sunday Times Driving team.

Viewers asked practical questions about the size of the Vision Next 100, before getting to the crunch question: how much does it cost? The answer? It’s a priceless, one of a kind concept car.

Unfortunately, the internet connection at the venue proved patchy and the broadcast ended abruptly when the connection was lost, but as a toe in the water for Driving’s Facebook Live videos, the extravagant two-seat luxury car made a great starting point.

Now we would like to hear your suggestions for what you’d like to see more of from us, via Facebook Live. Let us know in the comments below.
