Cop's lucky escape as car crash causes gas explosion

DASH-CAM footage recorded a lucky escape for a police office investigating a car crash at a house near Fort Worth, Texas, causing a gas line to rupture.

The explosion on April 7 was caught on camera by the police cruiser’s dashboard camera just as officers were arriving at the scene.

Police said in a press release that a vehicle crashed into the front of the house, hitting a gas line and causing the leak that triggered the explosion.

The driver was unharmed but three occupants of the house and two officers were injured in the explosion.
