Chevrolet Corvette written off in huge smash by Russian driver without licence

Strikes pawnshop after colliding head-on with another car

A CHEVROLET Corvette has been destroyed in Russia, after being crashed by a young driver without a licence.

Caught by CCTV cameras in the city of Tula, the man first smashed into a Renault saloon car, before being sent hurtling into a nearby pawnshop

Despite the violence of the crash, the Corvette driver managed to emerge from the collision seemingly unscathed. Two people entering the pawnshop at the time also avoided injury.

The same couldn’t be said for the individual behind the wheel of the Renault, sadly, who was hospitalised after an ambulance arrived at the scene.

Eyewitness testimony claims the young Russian who crashed the Chevrolet Corvette was also driving the sports car illegally, as he allegedly doesn’t hold a driver’s licence.
