Top Gear Live is postponed in Norway

“MAKE SOME noise, Norway  …  Actually, maybe don’t bother.” The Norwegian leg of Top Gear Live, the arena version of the motoring TV show, was due to begin in Stavanger, southwest Norway next week, but it has been postponed.

The organisers said new dates would be announced in due course: “We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this will cause fans and we will endeavour to contact all ticket holders directly to inform them of the change of dates.”
The announcement comes after Jeremy Clarkson was suspended from presenting Top Gear on BBC2, after an altercation with Oisin Tymon, a producer on the show. An investigation of the incident is being led by Lord Hall, the director-general of the BBC.
The live tour had already started, with Liverpool and Newcastle both treated to the trio’s madcap antics. Shows planned for Belfast (22-24 May), Sheffield (5-7 June) and London (28-29 November) remain in place.
