Lord March has done it again

THERE’S AN intoxicating buzz at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. The annual motoring and motorsport extravaganza is never exactly dull, but having been run for an amazing quarter of a century it had been at risk of becoming slightly… samey.

For the 25th anniversary event though, a raft of new and exciting road cars, incredible competition machines past and present, and some spectacular side shows have combined to give it a pretty powerful shot in the arm.

Mind you, perhaps our opinion has been shaped somewhat by the fact that we got to drive up the hill this year, and will be jumping in the Fiesta WRC with rally driver Elfyn Evans tomorrow… look out for our video coverage, coming soon.

For now, view the gallery above to get a taste of the action on display for visitors today (Thursday).
