TWO ROAD users have lost their lives in a terrifying crash involving three cars and an articulated lorry on a US highway.
Caught on dash cam footage released by the Nevada Highway Patrol, the goods vehicle is seen ploughing into a red Nissan pick-up truck that was being held at a construction site stop sign.
The lorry the filmed the collision was also clipped by the hurtling cargo carrier, with the red Nissan being shunted into a stationary Chevrolet saloon.

The tragic event was preceded by another crash that wasn’t captured by the dash cam, with the speeding lorry smashing into a Toyota Yaris hatchback.
Both passengers were sent flying from the car due to the force of the impact, with local authorities reporting the pair were found dead at the scene.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, it’s suspected that “drowsy driving was a factor in this crash”. No charges have been pressed at time of writing.
