A HOTEL valet at Sydney’s Hyatt Regency lost control of a Porsche sports car yesterday and wedged it beneath another vehicle.
One witness, Belinda Finlay, posted pictures to Instagram, saying, “If you’re thinking you’re having a bad morning……”
ABC reported emergency services had to cut the driver out of the convertible 911.
Hyatt’s director of sales and marketing Matthew Talbot said the staff member was a little embarrassed, “but the main thing is that he’s okay.”
7 News reported the hotel’s insurance is expected to cover the damage.
Sydney: A valet driver was trying to park a Porsche outside the Hyatt Regency Hotel this morning, but hit the accelerator a little too hard, and ended up underneath another car. The valet had to be cut free but wasn’t hurt. A third car was also damaged after being pushed into bollards. The hotel’s insurance is expected to cover the damage. #7News
