Electric nightmare

Tesla crash

THIS CUSTOMER’S dream of an electric luxury saloon turned into a nightmare after he crashed the car before even leaving the forecourt.

The Tesla Model S, a pure electric car with a top speed of 120mph and costing upwards of £49,900 in the UK, was being collected from the Tesla factory in Fremont, California when, according to WreckedExotics.com the over-excited owner hit the accelerator and careered over the car park kerb, and straight into the Store & Delivery Center sign.

It was an expensive and embarrassing accident after which, according to reports, the car was delivered straight back into the workshop for repairs.
