Video: Pig dodges dinner table with daring leap from truck

THIS BIG piggy went to market – but jumped out of the truck taking it there before it could be turned into sausages.

Amazing footage has emerged of a fearless hog hauling itself to the top of a truck as it speeds along a main road.

But the pig is not seeking a better look at the passing countryside ‒ it’s plotting its escape.

Having steadied itself on the swaying vehicle, it makes its way to the edge, looks over – and jumps.

It’s a heart-in-mouth moment, especially when the plucky pig barrel rolls to the edge of the road, but it staggers to its trotters, gets its bearings and, we hope, is eventually rewarded with a des-res pigsty for life.
