THE NISSAN Qashqai is parents’ favourite car in which to change a baby’s nappy, according to a survey.
The research, by Sudocrem and Bounty, found that mums and dads regarded the model’s spacious rear seats, large boot and perfect height as the ideal place in which to perform a nappy pit stop.
In the survey of 2,200 parents, the Qashqai pipped the Citroën C3 Picasso and Renault Scenic, models that are traditionally popular with families, to second and third places respectively.
“When it comes to number twos, the Nissan Qashqai really is number one,” said Nick Lang, senior brand manager of Sudocrem.
Almost 90% of the parents said they had changed their baby’s nappy in the car, which means 10% have very considerate offspring.
