Truck dash cam captures drug driving crash on M1 motorway in Australia

No-one was injured

A TRUCK’S dash cam captured the moment a car driver high on drugs pulled out into the HGV’s path while rejoining an Australian highway, causing a crash.

The incident took place on the M1 motorway at Minmi, near Newcastle, New South Wales, on the morning of February 23.

According to police, the male driver, 27, ran out of fuel and requested assistance from the National Roads and Motorists’ Association (NRMA). An NRMA technician noticed the man was acting erratically and tried to stop him driving but the driver jumped back in his car and drove off in a hurry, causing the collision.
