News: Porsche reveals hot new 911 GTS

0-62mph now down to 4.0secs

911 GTS

PORSCHE HAS announced hot new GTS versions of the 911 coupé and cabriolet, each producing 424bhp, an increase of 30bhp on their S equivalents.

The new versions, available in two and four-wheel drive, come with the Sport Chrono package offering dynamic engine mounts, and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), which lowers the car’s ride height by 10mm.

The increase in power brings faster acceleration times, with the Carrera GTS auto dispatching 0-62mph in 4.0secs compared with the S’s 4.3 seconds.

GTS versions get the wide, flared wheelarches and wider track from the 911 Carrera 4, 20in alloy wheels finished in matt black and black tail pipes. Inside, the cabin has leather-trimmed sports seats.

Prices start at £91,098 for the 911 Carrera GTS coupé, and the model can be ordered from today.
