Clarkson, Hammond and May announce new car show with Amazon Prime
And you thought Amazon was a bookshop
JEREMY CLARKSON, Richard Hammond and James May confirmed today that they will be back in front of the camera together, in a car show to be aired on Amazon Prime next year.
Writing on Twitter, Clarkson said he was “very excited”.

In a statement Clarkson added: “I feel like I’ve climbed out of a biplane and into a spaceship.” Filming will begin shortly, and the show will be available across the world on Amazon’s subscription service. The online retail giant has also signed Andy Wilman to produce the series, reuniting the core team that made Top Gear a worldwide success for the BBC.
“We have become part of the new age of smart TV,” said May, known to fans of the show as Captain Slow. “Ironic, isn’t it?” He and Hammond also also announced the news of their new jobs on Twitter.

Amazon Prime costs £79 a year, which includes free one-day delivery on items bought through Amazon, as well as access to 500,000 Kindle ebooks and 15,000 film and television titles on Prime Instant Video.
